I was born in Cheltenham, grew up in Hester’s Way, and still live locally in the town. Married with five grown-up children and am employed as a Senior Solutions Advisor for an international computer software company.
I served for many years as a school governor, and Chair of Governors at the former Monkscroft Infants School as well as a school governor at both the former St Benedict’s school and Christ College in Arle Road.
My priorities are finding ways to provide more affordable housing across the town, dealing with parking, and anti-social behaviour.
I want to ensure that the many potholed roads in our community are repaired and that our broken and uneven pavements are made safe to walk along.
I want to see that our green spaces and play areas for our children are maintained and improved.
We need the council to act, respond and support those suffering from the hardships caused by government policies and cuts. Surely it cannot be right that so many people have to depend on and rely on the growing number of food banks spread across Cheltenham.
Our area needs a new voice, someone prepared to speak out, to shout out about the injustice we see around us, not just someone content to rejoin the ranks of the same old faces who have been running the Council for years.
With your vote on 5 May, I can be that person.
